Hi, let me introduce myself. I’m Boogie Machin and I run the Machin Event Yard, a competition livery yard in high Leicestershire.

My passion for horses was born at a young age when my Mum first took me hunting on Scrumptious Honey Pony. It flourished through the Belvoir Pony Club where I was an active member, and on all the teams.

Due to our fantastic location between the Belvoir & Cottesmore, hunting is important to me, but we are also centrally placed for all the major Midlands show venues where I regularly compete in eventing, show jumping & showing. I pride myself on my personable approach, my clients are my friends and we thoroughly enjoy the whole experience of competing & the social life that somehow seems to gravitate towards my Prosecco-fuelled party bus.

Machin Event Yard facilities include 20 stables, an indoor school, a 100m x 40m grass arena with full set of jumps, a 50m x 26m outdoor arena, a waxed surface lunge pen, an indoor horse walker with rubber flooring, fabulous off-road hacking, an old race course within 5 minutes hacking and paddocks with 5 ft post and rail fencing, all with automatic water drinkers.
